It’s hard to overstate how much I love pyjamas. As soon as I get home, even if I’m already wearing something casual like leggings and a hoodie, the first thing I do is change into my PJs, othewise I don’t feel like I can start relaxing. There’s not been a Christmas in the past decade when I haven’t asked for a pretty pair, and by now, I have a very extensive (and financially ridiculous) collection of sleepwear.

But cute pyjamas needn’t cost the world – at least according to TikTok, where users are raving about Tu at Sainsbury’s new line of nightwear. One video of the new sets with than 34,000 likes gushes: ‘I love all of these.’

And it’s not only Tu that’s absolutely killing the pyjama game this festive season. George at Asda has just released a range of similar maximalist Christmas sets, featuring hot pink shades, cute patterns and red bow fastenings.

Then there’s F&F at Tescowhere the Christmas line includes one of the prettiest three-piece pyjama sets I’ve seen. It includes a tie-front cardigan, perfect for slinging on to cuddle up against the cold (and, in my opinion, makes it entirely appropriate to wear them all day).
