Bargain hunters are rushing to Kmart Australia to get their hands on heavily discounted Christmas items.

Amy took the opportunity to stock up on items for next year, including a dog toy set which had dropped from $10 to $2.50.

While not all items are included in the sale, customers can still choose from a wide range of products, from decorations to toys and outdoor lights.

‘Make sure when you’re in store to scan everything. Everything said 50 per cent off but scanned (at) 75 per cent off,’ Amy said.

The sale kicked off on December 29 and will continue while stocks last.

With stock flying off the shelves, customers are encouraged to act fast, as popular items are expected to sell out quickly.

Other customers were similarly delighted online, with some claiming they picked up Christmas wrapping paper for just 20 cents.

One person said she grabbed a toy cat set last year for 50 cents. Many said they’ll be ‘running to Kmart’.

Earlier this year customers couldn’t get enough of The Light Up Ceramic Gingerbread Book Storepriced at $12.

The charming trinket, which depicts a book shop with adjoining cafe, is part of a range of several miniature ceramic gingerbread stores.

Also available are a matching light-up Patisserie and Toy Shop, both priced at $12 each.

Together, they can be combined to create a whimsical Christmas village.

Matt Hey was among the early festive season shoppers to visit Kmart and spot the must-have decoration.

‘Dangerous things are about to happen because I’m in the Kmart Christmas section,’ the content creator said at the start of a recent TikTok video, which has been viewed over 357,000 times.

The Aussie comedian revealed he’d walked into Kmart only minutes after store workers had stocked the shelves with seasonal merchandise. ‘I’m here to take it all!’ he added with a laugh.

The miniature Light Up Ceramic Gingerbread Store is 18.5cm in height, 17cm width and 8.8cm in diameter.

The light up trinket contains a warm white LED bulb. The battery-operated light requires 2xAA batteries.
