It’s not just every store, brand and influencer currently in high-speed Christmas mode but my social-media feeds are packed with people untangling fairy lights and pondering what colour sequins to wear. While I adore Christmas dressing up, when it comes to picking my festive looks, I like to take things slow and steady to avoid getting hysterical about the trimmings.
