Strengthening commitment: Invest in local manufacturing

In a move that reflects OPPO’s confidence in the Egyptian market, last month the company opened its first factory in Egypt with an initial investment exceeding 20 million Egyptian pounds, with a plan to increase the investment to 50 million US dollars during the coming period. The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, confirming OPPO’s support for the local economy and its role in strengthening the national industry.

This factory will be considered a regional center for production and export, with a plan to expand production lines to 20 lines, supply up to 50% of components locally, as well as produce a wider range of smart devices and Internet of Things solutions. Through these steps, OPPO aims to foster innovation, expand access to technology, and build strong partnerships within Egypt’s technology sector.
