Al –Ahly club president, Mahmoud Al -Khatib, met with the planning committee, then with Walid Salah El -Din, the director of the ball, to listen to his point of view.

The statement of the Red Castle Club indicated that there is a foreign duo nominated to take over the mission of the coach during the coming period.

Al -Ahly said in his statement: “Mahmoud Al -Khatib, the president of Al -Ahly, briefed in his meeting yesterday with the Planning Committee, headed by Mukhtar Mukhtar and the membership of Zakaria Nassef and in the presence of Captain Mohamed Youssef, sports director, what the committee ended regarding the file of the foreign coach who is responsible for the football team during the next stage.”

The statement added: “The club president listened to all the details of the coaches who were chosen to run to take over the task … He also discussed the committee’s evaluation of them in all aspects, as well as the vision of the sports director, along with the view of Walid Salah El -Din, the director of the ball, in accordance with the required specifications in the new coach.”

The statement concluded: “Mahmoud Al -Khatib is currently checking some matters in preparation for making the appropriate decision in the coming hours.”

Al -Ahly channel had reported that: “Al -Ahly settled on the new foreign coach, and the consultations ended today.”

He added: “There was a comparison between 3 coaches of Al -Ahly, and opinions were different in the planning committee about the coach and his identity, and Al -Khatib was briefed and listened to all the details.

The channel explained: “The new coach will not come alone, but will have a full technical staff, including a guards and assistants, but the possibilities of Adel Mustafa’s continued with the team will be great because it is the future of the club.”

And she continued: “Imad Al -Nahhas, if he does not continue with the first team, will have roles and will be offered more than one role in Al -Ahly, and he may continue with the first team at all.”

Al -Ahly channel concluded: “But the 100% certain information is that the new coach of Al -Ahly will announce his name before the end of the international stop.”
