Donald Trump’s forgotten Playboy cover resurfaces with his answers to ‘flirty’ interview laid bare

Donald Trump‘s 1990 cover and ‘flirty’ interview for Playboy Magazine have resurfaced – and he didn’t hold back with his responses.

At the time, Trump was just 44 years old, and still married to his first wife, Ivana Trump.

A user posted their own copy of the magazine on Reddit this weekshowing Trump, now 79, posing for the March 1990 cover alongside model Brandi Brandt, as she looked at him admiringly and leaned into him.

The businessman was wearing a tuxedo and looked quite mischievous as he stared into the camera, with Brandt standing next to him in what appeared to be his tuxedo jacket.

The cover story was a profile on Trump and his upbringing, as well as his business dealings at the time – with the story addressing the Trump takeover that seemed to be happening all over New York City.

And, strangely enough, during the interview, Trump was asked about a potential presidential run, but seemed to shrug off the possibility.

‘The presidency? No, that takes an election, and it is clear that Trump is not that patient,’ he told the outlet at the time.

‘Too much to do!’ he concluded.

He also spoke about his marriage to Ivana, answering some seriously scandalous questions about whether or not the relationship was ‘monogamous.’

‘I don’t have to answer that,’ Trump said. ‘I never speak about my wife – which is one of the advantages of not being a politician.’

‘My marriage is and should be a personal thing,’ he continued.

The interviewer also asked him if he ‘enjoyed flirtations’ – to which he admitted that men who don’t would be ‘lying.’

‘I think any man enjoys flirtations, and if he said he didn’t, he’d by lying or he’d be a politician trying to get the extra four votes,’ he said at the time.

‘I think everybody likes knowing he’s well responded to,’ he continued.

‘Especially as you get into a certain strata where there is an ego involved and a high level of success, it’s important.

‘People really like the idea that other people respond well to them,’ Trump concluded.

Currently, a copy of the magazine is on sale for $1,500 on eBay.

Another copy is available for a slightly lower price of $299.99 on Amazon.

But although Trump may have been the cover star of the magazine at the time, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s son, Cooper, revealed in a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that his dad ‘regretted’ putting the now President on the front page.

‘We don’t respect the guy,’ Cooper said about Trump.

‘There’s a personal embarrassment because Trump is somebody who has been on our cover.’
