Savannah Guthrie has shared an update on her health after being forced to undergo vocal surgery.
The Today show co-host, 54, announced last month that she would be taking a hiatus from the NBC program to have an operation on her vocal cords.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Guthrie confirmed that she is recovering from the procedure and that she will be back soon.

The Today show co-host has been absent from the NBC program since December 20
A third continued: ‘Wonderful news! I’m praying for you and wishing you well and a speedy recovery!’
‘So happy all is well,’ added a fourth. ‘Sending love and healing!’
Guthrie announced she would be taking a hiatus from the Today show last month so she could undergo the procedure. Her return date is not yet known.
During the December 19 episode, she revealed she has nodules on her vocal cords and a polyp that require removal.
She added that she will need to be on vocal rest and be ‘totally silent’ in the days that follow the procedure.
Addressing viewers, Guthrie said: ‘Some of you have noticed that my voice has been very scratchy and started to crack a little bit.
‘Well, I have found out what it is. I have vocal nodules and I also have a polyp.
‘It’s not a big, big deal, but I am going to have to have a surgery in the new year and be off for a couple of weeks, so this is my last day for a little while.’

It is not yet known when Guthrie will be returning to the Today show
Guthrie added that she was ‘really excited’ to have received her diagnosis after years of struggling to understand what was wrong.
She continued: ‘This has been going on for years, honestly, so to have a solution.’
Today show co-star Sheinelle Jones revealed that she underwent the same surgery herself.
Speaking to the fellow presenters, she said: ‘You guys know, I had the same thing. The surgery is in and out, no big deal.
‘The silver lining is permission to be still. The house gets quiet. The kids want to help you out.’
Jones, 47, then presented Guthrie with a whiteboard to help while her voice is out of order.
Craig Melvin added: ‘We wish you healing and recovery.’
