Bradley Cooper is the latest A-list actor to have guest appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast, much to the shock of listeners.

The Hollywood star, 51, sat down with the famed podcaster, 58, on the January 9 episode for 150 minutes with the pair discussing everything from artificial intelligence to social media and attention span.

Cooper is the latest in a string of actors to have joined the Joe Rogan Experience in recent weeks – and the move has frustrated some.

In November, Russell Crowe and Billy Bob Thornton appeared on the podcast, followed by John Cena on December 5 and Ethan Hawke on December 11.

Rogan’s followers have voiced their displeasure at the increasing number of big Hollywood stars.

Commenting on Spotifyone said: ‘This pod is becoming something like the Tonight Show. Just a string of actors and comedians is making it hard to keep following.’

‘Hollywood Joe Rogan strikes again,’ another wrote.

A third said: ‘The world is on fire and we have Hollywood guests? Come on Joe grow some hair.’

Others have speculated over the recent inclusion of actors with some wondering whether it’s to do with politics – with stars, including Cooper, dodging hot topics.

On Reddit, one asked: ‘Why all these Hollywood actors? I don’t get it. they are not interesting at all.’

‘Less chance for politics to come up,’ another replied.

Similarly, a second fan pointed out: ‘Hilarious that actors, the people Joe supposedly can’t stand, have become the best guests lately.’

In response, a user said: ‘Could be because politics aren’t brought up.’

Despite fan theories, Rogan has not shied away from speaking out about politics and news headlines on his show in recent weeks.

Just this week, he said he understands why left-wing protesters have likened Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids to those of Hitler’s Gestapo.

Rogan’s comments came in response to the recent ICE shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.

Last month, Rogan also dragged Donald Trump for his ‘not funny’ reaction to filmmaker Rob Reiner’s gruesome murder.

During the Joe Rogan Experience episode with Cooper, the actor credited Rogan for getting him into podcasts in 2025.

‘I know I’m late to the game,’ he said.

‘Often, I’ll go to bed, and my daughter’s listening to your voice,’ he added, referring to his eight-year-old whom he shares with ex Irina Shayk. ‘But I do put on headphones sometimes.’

Following Cooper’s episode earlier this week, viewers also expressed their shock at his looks and claimed that he looked ‘totally unrecognizable.’

Sharing their reactions on Reddit, one commented: ‘This dude also f***ed his face up and barely looks like himself any .’

‘His face is somehow different, almost like I can’t recognize him, and not because he’s older now,’ another wrote.

A third added: ‘Totally unrecognizable. I would never guess this man is Bradley Cooper.’

‘Bradley seriously f***ed up his face,’ wrote a fourth. ‘If Joe was a real one, he’d ask him about it. Can you imagine?’

Earlier this month, Cooper weighed in on the feverish plastic surgery rumors.

The actor addressed the chatter while appearing on the SmartLess podcast this week, where hosts Will Arnett and Jason Bateman didn’t shy away from the elephant in the room.

During the episode, Arnett acknowledged how fans have been convinced Cooper has gone under the knife, before insisting that the American Hustle star has not.

Bateman echoed the sentiment, prompting Cooper to jump in with his own response.

The Oscar nominee revealed that he’s been stopped repeatedly in recent weeks by people commenting on how ‘good’ he looks, before admitting the attention has been ‘crazy.’

While Cooper didn’t directly confirm or deny any procedures, the conversation made clear that the speculation has not gone unnoticed.
