With all of the babies in the MAGA orbit, and since President Trump took office last year, it’s inspired some new name trends for parents, according to experts, as his daughter Ivanka is seen above

According to Pamela Redmond, creator and CEO of Nameberrythere has been a rise in certain names increasing in popularity in MAGA-leaning states like Texas, Wyoming, South Carolina, and Florida.

Redmond explained that ‘MAGA’ names tend to have a list of similar qualities.

She told Daily Mail that one of the biggest trends are gender-neutral names, for both boys and girls.

‘Half the girls’ names starting life as surnames: Kohen, Oakley, Sutton, Collins,’ Redmond explained to Daily Mail.

She’s also noticed that many of the names are rooted in English, versus ancient languages like Latin or Hebrew, and that many of them are drawn from ‘nature, animals, and the Wild West,’ like the names ‘Wrenley’ and ‘Banks.’

In addition, other ‘MAGA’ names are ‘nontraditional names spelled unconventionally,’ like Charlee or Marlee, while others have ‘gun or military references,’ such as Navy, Gunner, and Remington.

‘I would consider these MAGA names versus Ivanka or Kristi or Tiffany, which are family names or names that were popular when those notable political figures were babies,’ Redmond explained to Daily Mail.

‘I’m sure some super-fans are naming their babies Kristi or Ivanka, but I wouldn’t expect to see any statistical increase in use of those names.’

Redmond also added a few other ‘MAGA’ names to the list, telling Daily Mail that they include ‘Truce, Colsen, and Bryer for boys,’ and ‘Scottie, Rowyn, and Icelynn for girls.’

So, will Leavitt and her husband be naming their future daughter ‘Charlee’ or ‘Navy,’ or something else entirely?

Redmond guessed that The Press Secretary and her husband may name their future daughter after Karoline, and call her ‘Karo,’ as they did something similar for her son’s name.

Niko, of course, is named after his father, Nicholas Riccio.

‘They also might use a trendy variation such as Kara or Kierra,’ Redmond added.

She also posited that the two could give their baby a saint’s name.

‘Though ancient religious names are NOT traditionally MAGA, Leavitt and her husband are Catholics and so may subscribe to the Catholic tradition of giving baby a saint’s name,’ Redmond explained.

‘Riccio’s father’s name was Anthony, so a daughter might be named Antonia.’

Earlier this week, Leavitt flaunted her growing baby bump on Instagram as she posed for a snap alongside President Donald Trump’s Special Assistant and Communications Advisor, Margo Martin.

Leavitt cradled her baby bump as she wore a long-sleeved, burgundy sweater with a cream ruffle at the hem, along with matching, dark-colored flared pants.

She wrapped her hands around the growing bump as she smiled standing next to Martin, who was wearing belted, burgundy-colored flare pants and a matching, form-fitting, crewneck long-sleeved sweater.

‘Matching today with Margo Martin,’ Leavitt wrote in the caption of the photo, adding in the ‘twin’ emoji next to it.

So far, Leavitt has dressed up this pregnancy by wearing long statement jackets and colorful blazers.

Since becoming the face of the White House this year, Leavitt’s marriage to Riccio, a real estate developer, has raised eyebrows due to their 32-year age gap.

In March, Leavitt admitted they have a ‘very atypical love story,’ and said they first met when she unsuccessfully ran for Congress in New Hampshire in 2022.

‘A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband,’ Leavitt told Megyn Kelly at the time.

‘I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.’
